Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Data Protection Officer with information security knowledge. The ideal candidate will ensure that our company and clients adhere to legal standards and in-house policies while maintaining a focus on cybersecurity regulations and practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and oversee the company’s compliance program to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.

2. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks, with a focus on cybersecurity.

3. Advise on and monitor the implementation of legal and regulatory changes affecting the company’s operations, particularly in cybersecurity.

4. Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure that data protection policies and cybersecurity measures are in place and effective.

5. Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.

 

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.

– Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or similar role.

– Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements, with a particular focus on cybersecurity.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Certification in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is a plus.
